Ah, there we go, it's working. Good Day, or possibly Night, I can't tell, to you, gentle citizens. Suppose my luck involving the curses couldn't hold out any more, eh?

Now, does anyone happen to know where there may be suitable stabling for a very kindly donated thoroughbred grey gelding, approximately fifteen hands? It's ra...

Suprisingly well, he must be used to a lot of nonsense going on around him. More interested in eating bits of my jacket.

I think his previous...get off, boy... whoever owned him before the last fellow (who seems quite pleasant and I suspect may have rescued him) might have been a bit cruel to him. His mouth is a little hard and there are marks of the spurs on his flanks. Poor lad.

Where should I meet you?

Quite frankly, I think I would prefer if he didn't. Apparently there's a fellow with a farm we can ask. Equus seems to like being sprinkled with Holy Water though...

Well if it is any consolation I have not heard of the any attacks happening with the horses involved. Perhaps they are behaved?

It sounds like the poor fellow would like a bath if he is taking to the holy water.

How about we meet for dinner? There are several restaurants in the Square.

That should give you plenty of time to get your horse settled.

I guess Equus is better than "that horse we haven't managed to kill yet."

There're stables. Just watch out for the vampires. Horses, that is. Well, horse and pony, really.

Very gracious of you, but not to worry, Miss Williams, I gave my life in a noble cause and here I am now, relatively unscathed. As long as this damn horse stops attempting to eat my ear...

I shall ask Mr Kent to give you the smallest stable if you don't behave yourself, young man.

Do excuse me...

This is a curse? Then I believe all the shock and horror I've heard about the things has been blown far out of proportion.

And however intelligent the creature may be, I doubt it will stop trying to eat your hat if you insist.

I shall insist vehemently, and thank you again for the kind donation. As for curses, they can be considerably worse, if memory serves. I seem to remember a lot of being haunted by one's worst memories and horrifying mind control making one behave most impolitely and against one's nature.
